After you add the first secondary server, the database is enabled for multiplex. You can check the status of all the multiplex nodes now, if desired.
Checking server status (Sybase Central)
Open the multiplex folder.
Select the Servers tab to view server status. The Servers tab lists details shown in Table 2-3.

Status displays are not instantaneous and depend on network latency. To refresh the status display, select View > Refresh Folder from the main menu bar.
Checking server status (Interactive SQL)
Connect to the coordinator.
Run sp_iqmpxinfo.
