Creating destination aliases

You can create and manage a destination alias using the following methods:

You can use Sybase Central to create or modify a destination alias.

Start Sybase Central:
- Click Start » Programs » SQL Anywhere 12 » Administration Tools » Sybase Central.
- Click Connections » Connect with QAnywhere 12.
- Specify an ODBC Data Source Name or ODBC Data Source File, and a User ID and Password if required.
- Click OK.
Click File » New » Destination Alias.
In the Alias field, type a name for the alias.
In the Destinations field, type the name of each destination on its own line.
Click OK.
