Using the Web interface

Adaptive Server Enterprise Web Services provides a Web interface for the following:

• Performing administrative tasks

• Executing Web methods

Starting the Web interface

Use the following procedure to start the Web interface:

1. Make sure Adaptive Server Enterprise is running.

2. Start the Producer component by executing the runproducer or runws script.

3. Open a Web browser, and go to the following URL:

   https://domainhostname:port
   

   where:

   • domainhostname is the name of the machine on which your Adaptive Server Enterprise has been installed.

   • port is the port on which the Producer component listens for SSL requests.

   You must have SSL configured to access Web Services through the Web interface.
