A System Preference pane is now provided with Adaptive Server Enterprise. This pane should be used to:
Start and stop Adaptive Server
Enable and disable automatic startup during system restart
Enable and disable monitoring with the new Server Admin utility
The preference pane is located at /Applications/Sybase/System/Plugins/Sybase.prefPane, and is installed automatically at /Library/PreferencePanes/Sybase.prefPane. To use it, select the “System Preferences...” menu item from the Apple menu. The Sybase preference pane should appear in the “Other” section at the bottom of the list.
