The console may display error messages about missing fonts when you start the installation program. You can safely ignore these messages. See Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) 1.3 for additional information.
Solaris 2.8 is the same as Sun OS 5.8 and Solaris 8.
Solaris 2.9 is the same as Sun OS 5.9 and Solaris 9.
