You can acces the Monitor Client GUI application from the Monitors folder of the C++ version of the Adaptive Server plug-in. This application is available only on Windows platforms. The Java edition of the Adaptive Server plug-in does not contain the Monitors folder or the Monitor Client GUI application that are included in the C++ version. If you want to use the Monitor Client GUI with an Adaptive Server 12.5 installation, you must use the C++ version of the plug-in that shipped with Adaptive Server version 12.5.
There is no plan to integrate the Monitor Client into the Java edition of the Adaptive Server plug-in.
The C++ version of the Adaptive Server
plug-in that was shipped with versions of Adaptive Server
earlier than 12.5 will work with a Adaptive Server 12.5 server.
However, the Monitor Client GUI in these versions cannot access the
Adaptive Server 12.5 Monitor Server. To use the Monitor Client GUI
with an Adaptive Server 12.5 server and Monitor Server, you must
use the version of the C++ plug-in that
was shipped with the Adaptive Server version 12.5.
