After you connect to a UDDI registry, you can search the UDDI registry.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Business | Looks for a business by name. For example, Sybase. |
Service | Looks for a service. For example, GlobalWeather. |
tModel | Looks for a taxonomy model (tModel). For example, uddi-org:types. |
Name | Looks for a business, service, or tModel by its regular string name. For example: uddi-org:types (a tModel). |
UUID (Universal Unique Identifier) | Looks for a business, service, or tModel by its UUID code. For example: uuid:C1ACF26D-9672-4404-9D70-39B756E62AB4 (the UUID that represents the uddi-org:types tModel). |
Search String | Enter the first part of the search term. Use % as a wildcard. For example, global% or %weather. |
Language | Some registry items are qualified by language. To limit your search to items in a particular language, select the language, for example, German (Standard) de. |
Limit returned results to | To prevent lengthy search times, select the check
box and enter an integer, for example, 5.
In this case, the search ends after the first 5 results are found. |
Search results are displayed in the Enterprise Explorer in the Search Results folder, depending on the name you selected for Search Node Name.
