Install Sybase WorkSpace

The Sybase WorkSpace installation uses DVD and CD media on a Windows platform. You can also download WorkSpace 2.1 from the Sybase Product Download Center.

Note:

If firewall parameters are set to high levels, one of the following messages may appear:
- Java.exe trying to access the internet
- Do you want to keep blocking this program? Java.exe
Select Unblock to continue the installation.

Installing Sybase WorkSpace
Install Sybase WorkSpace using the installer program.
Reviewing the Installation
Review Sybase WorkSpace installation subdirectories and the directory that contains your project metadata files.
Installing Samples and Tutorials
Sybase WorkSpace installs samples and has tutorials available for download from the Sybase CodeXchange Web site.
Starting Sybase WorkSpace
After you complete the installation, you can start Sybase WorkSpace from the Windows Start menu.
