EAServer Server View Properties

Define EAServer properties when adding EAServer to the Servers view.

Table 1. Define a new server
Option Action
Server's Host Name Select the server host name.
Select the Server Type Expand the tree view and select the server from the list, or enter text in the provided box to search for specific entries.
Note: To install another supported server, click Download Additional Server Adapters.
Server Runtime Select a preconfigured runtime server.
Installed Runtimes Edit the installed server runtime preferences.
Table 2. Server properties
Option Action
Host name Enter the IP address of the server host.
HTTP port Enter the port number for HTTP connections. The default is 8000.
IIOP port Enter the port number for IIOP connections. The default is 2000.
RMI port (optional) Enter the port number for RMI connections. The default is 1999.
User id The user id used to connect to the server. The default is admin@system.
Password Enter a password for the user id. The default is sybase1.
Additional server start arguments Enter any EAServer startup arguments. For example -jdk 15.
Debug port Enter the EAServer debug port. The default is 5005.
Table 3. Add and Remove Projects
Option Action
Available Projects Projects which are available to be added to the server.
Configured Projects Select an available project and click Add to add the project to the server.
