Setting a Breakpoint in a Web Page

Set breakpoints in a Web page to help debug the page.

  1. In the WorkSpace Navigator of the Web Application Development perspective, select the .jsp file in which you want to create breakpoints. The .jsp file opens in the Web Page editor.
  2. In the source section of the Design tab, click in the source where you want to place a breakpoint. A vertical ruler to the left of the source code displays a marker next to the line you clicked.
  3. Double-click the marker to create the breakpoint.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to create the necessary breakpoints to help you debug the Web page.
