Developing an Enterprise Application

Develop a J2EE enterprise application from the J2EE perspective.


  • Open the Create, Deploy, and Test a Session EJB cheat sheet.
  • Refer to the Eclipse Web Application Development User Guide located at the main level of the Sybase WorkSpace online bookshelf. This documentation is also available on the Eclipse Web site at http://www.eclipse.org/documentation/
  1. Open the J2EE perspective.
  2. Create an Enterprise Application project.
  3. Create and add any of the following projects to the enterprise application project:
    • Application Client Project
    • Connector Project
    • Dynamic Web Project
    • EJB Project
    • Web Service
