Create an Enterprise JavaBean (EJB) project to house EJB resources.
Prerequisites Open the Project Explorer.
- In the Project Explorer, right-click EJB Project and select .
The New EJB Project wizard opens.
- Define these EJB properties, then click Next:

Enter a name for the project. |

Accept the default project content files or unselect Use Default and browse to add files. |
Target Runtime |
Select the runtime server, or click New to define a new runtime server. |
- Select the project facets to include in your project and click Next.
Note: Click Save to save the list of project facets as a preset list.
The EJB Module page displays.
- Configure these EJB module settings:

To change the directory where the Java source files are stored, enter the path
to the directory.

Create an EJB Client JAR Project to Hold the Client Interfaces and Classes

To keep the client interface classes for your EJBs in a separate EBJ-client JAR file, select this option, then define these properties for the EJB Client JAR module:

- Click Finish to save the project definition and exit the wizard.
The new project and its associated references appear in the Project Explorer under EJB Projects.
