Setting Up Identifiers for a UDDI Search

While setting up a UDDI search, you can select one or more identifiers to narrow your search to businesses, services, or tModels that are classified by one of the supported identifiers, such as a DUNS number.

Note: For a list of common tModel identifiers, their associated key names and corresponding key values, contact a UDDI services coordinator.
  1. In the Identifiers dialog, click Add Identifier.

A new identifier is added to the list.

  2. Edit any of the following fields:
    Table 1. Identifier fields
    Field Description
tModel Name or UUID Select a taxonomy model (tModel) identification scheme. This can be either the name element, for example, thomasregister-com:supplierID, or the tModel's UUID code, for example: e21aee6f-dab8-4a8c-a29b-10c03962338d.
Key Name Enter a Key Name that is valid within the selected tModel, for example, SYBASE, INC
Key Value Enter a value that corresponds to the Key Name, for example, 131563215
  3. To delete an identifier from the list, select the identifier and click Delete Identifier.
  4. Click OK when you finish setting up identifiers.
