Developing an EJB Service

Develop an EJB service to use in a business process or Java service.

1. Creating a Sybase Project
   You can create a Sybase project that contains folders and files to assist you in organizing and developing resources for your project.
2. Creating a Service
   Create a service and optionally bind it to an endpoint type, such as business process, database, EJB, Java, messaging, monitor, SOAP or transformation.
3. Editing an EJB Service Interface
   After you define an EJB service, you can edit the service interface at any time.
4. Adding an EJB Service Operation
   You have the option of adding service operations to an EJB service when creating the service or when editing the service interface.
5. Defining an EJB Service Operation Parameter
   If you plan to define the service operation parameter as complex, import the schema before you begin this task.
6. Viewing EJB Service Operation Parameter Properties
   View EJB service operation parameter properties using the Service editor.
7. Adding an EJB Service Endpoint
   The service endpoint provides the implementation of an EJB service.
8. Defining an EJB Service Endpoint Binding
   Define EJB endpoint binding operation parameters and properties.
9. Editing an EJB Service Endpoint
   You can edit service endpoints.
10. Viewing the EJB Implementation Location
    Review the EJB service implementation location details using the Service editor. You cannot edit the location of the EJB from here.
