Designing a Business Process

Use the business process canvas and tool palette to graphically design a business process.

Design tips

Open the Outline view to display a tree view or a thumbnail sketch of the structural elements of the business process.
If a service invocation throws a fault, a double-arrow icon with a red X decorates the service icon in the upper-left corner.

Create a service with a business process binding.
Select the Business Process tab in the Service editor to display the business process canvas.
(Optional) Define correlation sets.
Open the tool palette.
Build a business process on the design canvas using tool palette activities.
Connect the activities on the canvas to define the flow of execution.
Select File > Save from the menu bar.
