Transformation functions are organized for use in the Transformation Rule section of the Map tab.
You can access the functions using the Tool Palette view or by right-clicking on the canvas in the Transformation Rule section and selecting a function from the context menu. In the Tool Palette view, functions for transformation display when you select a connector on the Map canvas.

| XPath Node Set Functions | Count, local name, namespace-uri, and name used in expressions. |
| Conditional Logic | If and Then nodes for setting up selection logic similar to a choose structure. |
| XPath Boolean Functions | Boolean operators used in expressions. |
| String Extension Functions | Additional Sybase-developed string functions. |
| Constants | String, integer, decimal, date, time, and date time constants. |
| XPath Number Functions | Number functions used in expressions. |
| DateTime Extension Functions | Additional Sybase-developed date/time functions. |
| XPath String Functions | String functions used in expressions. |
| Numeric Extension Functions | Additional Sybase developed numeric functions. |
