Supported Transformation Functions

Transformation functions are organized for use in the Transformation Rule section of the Map tab.

You can access the functions using the Tool Palette view or by right-clicking on the canvas in the Transformation Rule section and selecting a function from the context menu. In the Tool Palette view, functions for transformation display when you select a connector on the Map canvas.

Tool palette Description
XPath Node Set Functions Count, local name, namespace-uri, and name used in expressions.
Conditional Logic If and Then nodes for setting up selection logic similar to a choose structure.
XPath Boolean Functions Boolean operators used in expressions.
String Extension Functions Additional Sybase-developed string functions.
Constants String, integer, decimal, date, time, and date time constants.
XPath Number Functions Number functions used in expressions.
DateTime Extension Functions Additional Sybase-developed date/time functions.
XPath String Functions String functions used in expressions.
Numeric Extension Functions Additional Sybase developed numeric functions.
