Editing a File System Document Store

Rename a document store, add or remove subdirectories from the document store root directory, and move the document store in and out of document groups.

1. In the Enterprise Explorer, expand Sybase Search Servers > (Sybase Search Connection Profile) > Sybase Search Server > Document Stores > File System Import Manager .
2. Right-click the file system store you want to edit and select Edit.
3. Edit any of the fields that appear in the Edit File System Stores wizard:

   Field/Menu	Description
   Name	Enter a name for the document store.
   Document Group Nonmembers	Lists the document groups of which the document store is not a member. Select a document group to associate it with the document store.
   Document Group Members	Lists the document groups in which the document store is a member.
   Directories section: Lists all the root directories whose contents are available for searching.
   Add	Click to enter the path of the target directory.
   Include Subdirectories	Select this option to index all subdirectories under the root directory.
   Remove	Remove the selected root directory reference from the file system store.
   Edit	Remove all the subdirectories from the root directory, or change the root directory path.
   File Type Filter	Select this option, then enter the file extension or MIME type: Select Include to index only documents of the specified file type. Select Exclude to index documents except those of the specified file type.
   Documents section: Lists all the documents in the selected directory.
   Add	Add a document from the selected directory for partial indexing.
   Edit	Edit the selected document for partial indexing.
   Remove	Remove the selected document from the list.

4. Click Finish to save the changes.
