LDAP Security

The common security infrastructure for Java LDAP security provider includes authentication, attribution, and authorization.

The following classes in the com.sybase.security.ldap\csi-ldap.jar file provide these security services:

• The LDAPLoginModule class provides the authentication services. Through appropriate configuration, you can enable certificate authentication in LDAPLoginModule.
• The LDAPAttributer class provides attribution services.
• The RoleCheckAuthorizer class provides the authorization services.

• LDAP Configuration Properties
  The LDAP login provider provides authentication, authorization, and attribution services. Configure the LDAP provider by setting properties in the <installation directory>\EAServer\Repository\CSI\conf\default.xml file.
• LDAP Role Computation
  Role checks are the primary means of performing access control when using LDAP authentication.
• Example: LDAP Role Computation
  By setting the appropriate combination of options in the <installation directory>\EAServer\Repository\CSI\conf\default.xml file, you can achieve integration with a wide variety of LDAP schemas.
