Opening the EAServer Management Console (Sybase Management Console)

The Sybase Management Console is a Web-based user interface similar to Sybase Central. It provides the management interface to EAServer via a Web-based console. Use the EAServer Console module to view server log files, to monitor EAServer performance, statistics, and transactions, and to to configure EAServer and to define and deploy software components .

Prerequisites 

Verify that EAServer is running.

  1. Open a Web browser.
  2. Enter this URL address:

    http://hostname:http port/console

    The default port is 8000.

  3. Enter your user name and password.
    Option Description
    Default User Name admin@system
    Default Password password1
  4. Click OK. The EAServer Console opens.
