Web Consoles

Administer services and security from a Web browser.

The following Web consoles are provided for Service Container components.

• Opening the Basic Provider Suite Administration Console
  Use the Basic Provider Suite (BPS) administration console to manage users and user roles for the default security provider.
• Opening the EAServer Management Console (Sybase Management Console)
  The Sybase Management Console is a Web-based user interface similar to Sybase Central. It provides the management interface to EAServer via a Web-based console. Use the EAServer Console module to view server log files, to monitor EAServer performance, statistics, and transactions, and to to configure EAServer and to define and deploy software components .
• Opening the Runtime Management Console for Service Container
  Use the Runtime Management Console to administer Service Container and Business Activity Monitor (available only if you have this component installed) via this Web-based console.
• Disabling Service Container Logging to EAServer Log Files
  Console logging for Service Container is enabled, which ensures that runtime errors and "unable to load class" errors are always captured in both Service Container and EAServer logs by default. In certain situations, you might need to temporarily disable console logging for Service Container so that you only get EAServer log information in the EAServer console logs.
