Starting and Stoping SQL Anywhere Using Database Scripts

Use an appropriate command line script to start and stop the SQL Anywhere database.

Table 1. Windows
Script Description
<installation directory>\SCS\ASA\startSC55Runtime_asa.bat Starts the database server on Windows.
<installation directory>\SCS\ASA\stopSC55Runtime_asa.bat Stops the database server on Windows.
Table 2. UNIX
Script Description
<installation directory>/SCS/ASA/startSC55Runtime_asa.sh Starts the database server on UNIX.
<installation directory>/SCS/ASA/stopSC55Runtime_asa.sh Stops the database server on UNIX.
