Database Development includes testing facilities for testing and debugging procedural objects and external clients.

• Database Debug Perspective
  The Database Debug perspective contains views, editors, menus and toolbars that assist you in debugging procedural objects.
• Setting a Breakpoint
  Set breakpoints to suspend the execution of a procedural object at a specific location in the SQL code while debugging a database object.
• Launching a Database Debug Session from the Database Development Perspective
  Launch a database debug session from the Database Development perspective.
• Launching a Database Debug Session from the Run Menu
  Launch a database debug session for a procedural object from the Run menu.
• Launching a Database Debug Session from an Editor
  Launch a database debug session for a procedural object from its corresponding editor.
• Debugging a Procedural Object
  Proceed with debugging once breakpoints have been set for a procedural object in the Database Development perspective.
• Debugging an External Client
  You can debug an external client using Sybase WorkSpace.
