Breakpoints View

The Breakpoints view displays breakpoints for procedural objects being debugged.

Table 1. Breakpoints view context menu functions
Name Action
Go to File Open the file containing the selected breakpoint in the editor.
Enable Enable the selected breakpoint.
Disable Disable the selected breakpoint.
Remove Remove the selected breakpoint.
Remove All Remove all breakpoints.
Select All Select all breakpoints.
Copy Copy the selected breakpoint.
Paste Paste the selected breakpoint.
Export Breakpoints Opens the Export Breakpoints wizard. Select the breakpoints to export, specify a destination file, and click Finish to export the breakpoints.
Import Breakpoints Opens the Import Breakpoints wizard. Specify a source file, and select import options:
  • Automatically update existing breakpoints
  • Automatically create breakpoint working sets
Click Finish to import the breakpoints.
Properties Opens a properties screen indicating the procedural object containing the selected breakpoint and the line number on which the breakpoint appears in the procedural object code. The properties screen also indicates whether or not the breakpoint is enabled.
Set working sets and groupings for breakpoints from the drop-down menu.

Group By Group the listed breakpoints by:
  • Breakpoints
  • Breakpoint Types
  • Breakpoint Working Sets
  • Files
  • Projects
  • Resource Working Sets
  • Advanced
Select Default Working Set Select a default working set, and click OK.
Deselect Default Working Set Deselect a default working set, and click OK.
Working Sets From the Select Working Set dialog, select a working set, and click OK. To create a new working set, click New, and follow the instructions in the New Working Set wizard.
Show Qualified Names Display qualified breakpoint names.

Remove All Breakpoints Remove all breakpoints.
Show Breakpoints Supported by Selected Target Show breakpoints supported by the selected procedural object.
Go to File for Breakpoint Open the file containing the selected breakpoint.
Skip All Breakpoints Skip all breakpoints.
Expand All Expand all tree nodes.
Collapse All Collapse all tree nodes.
Link with Debug View Link the selected breakpoint with the Debug View.
Add Java Exception Breakpoint Add a Java exception breakpoint.
