Creating a Personalization Key

Create a personalization key using the Personalization Key wizard.

1. Launch the Personalization Key wizard from the Mobile Application Explorer. Expand the Mobile Application project. Right-click the Personalization Keys folder and select New. The New Personalization Key wizard displays:
2. Follow the wizard instructions and click Finish to create the new personalization key:
   
   • Name – the name of the personalization key
   • Description – (optional) the description of this personalization key
   The newly created personalization key is stored in the Personalization Key folder of the selected Mobile Application project.

• Personalization Keys
  Personalization keys allow the mobile user to define, or personalize, certain input fields in a mobile application.
• Modifying Personalization Key Properties
  Modify personalization key properties from the personalization key's Properties window.
• Assigning a Personalization Key to a Parameter
  Assign a personalization key to allow the mobile user to define, or personalize, certain input fields in a mobile application.
• Deleting a Personalization Key
  Delete a personalization key from the Personalization Keys folder.
