Implementing HTTPS for Unwired Server Administration

Optionally implement the HTTPS certificate if you have enabled the HTTPS protocol for the Unwired Server administration listener.

  1. Stop Unwired Server in Sybase Control Center.
  2. Configure Synchronization properties to enable the HTTP and to select the certificate you require. Do this by clicking Server Configuration then select the Administration Listener tab.
  3. Start Unwired Server in Sybase Control Center.

    After startup the server log contains a message indicating HTTPS protocol, port, and encryption type, indicating the server is ready to receive HTTPS connections.

    If you see the following message, it may indicate that the certificate could not be found:

    <Main> [-10117] Stream Error: No server certificate was provided.
