Unwired Server is the application server included with Sybase Unwired Platform that manages mobile applications, back-end data source synchronization, communication, security, transactions, and scheduling. Configuration tasks for Unwired Server vary depending on many factors, including whether you are deploying Unwired Server to a development or production environment.
For example, a development version of Unwired Server may not need the same security features enabled as a production version of Unwired Server would. Moreover, while both development and productions versions of the server may require connection pools, the targets configured might vary considerably.
