Automatic Screen Creation

You can automatically create screens that are populated with data from the data source by dragging and dropping the data source onto the Flow Design.

Set the preferences for automatic screen creation in the Device Application Designer Preferences. These preferences allow you to decide which screens to create when you drop a data source onto the Flow Design canvas.

The Relationship Automatic Screens options means that all sub-screens are created after creating the initial relationship screen. This option is disabled if the Relationships screens is not selected.

By default, the Delete Operation Screen option is unselected. If selected, the Device Application Designer:

Creates the main screen with a table for the mobile business object.
Adds a Delete menu item to the main screen.
Adds an Alert action of the Question type, which goes back to the main screen to the menu item. Adding this action means the user is prompted to confirm before deleting.
Adds a Save Context action to the menu item.
Adds an operation action that performs the Delete operation to the menu item.

If you drop more than one mobile business object onto the Flow Design canvas, only the main screens are created. If a screen has multiple screens that can be created, you can use the assist option at the top of the screen to create the screens.
