Sybase WorkSpace provides several functions that enable you to
retrieve and view information about properties for an XML message.

For the appropriate ASE connection profile and database, select the
appropriate procedural object.

Property Name – specify the property by its name.

Variable – specify a variable that stands for the name of
the property. Variable names begin with "@".

default value is 1.

in bytes for the return type.
