Sybase Control Center

Configure the Sybase Control Center administration framework, so Sybase products can be administered from this console in a secure fashion.

A production deployment of Sybase Control Center requires its own setup tasks, which are distinct from other Sybase products. Configuring Sybase Control Center requires that you secure access and network communications.

1. Encrypting the Sybase Control Center Administration Stream
   By default the Unwired Platform creates a placeholder certificate used to encrypt administration sessions with SSL. Because this is a self-signed certificate, it generates an error when you first load Sybase Control Center.
2. Configuring Discovery Properties
   Set properties in the <discoveries> or <agents> definition of the service-servlet-properties.xml file so that Sybase products can be discovered and listed in Sybase Control Center.
