Connect to DB2 UDB

Before you can use ECDA components on the target DB2 UB database, configure the DSN and verify the special key string in the Windows Registry.

• Adding and Configuring a New Data Source Name for a DRDA service
  Create and configure a new data source name (DSN) for a Distributed Relational Database Architecture (DRDA).
• Configuring a Datasource
  To create and configure datasource entries for DRDA, specify the required parameters settings in the ODBC Data Source Administrator dialog.
• Adding the WorkArounds2 String Key to Pad DB2 Character Data
  For DB2 only, verify that a special string key is defined in the Windows Registry to allow the driver to pad DB2 char for bit data fields with spaces, instead of binary zeros.
