If you decide to change the DBMS on which the repository database is stored, then you must copy an appropriate JDBC driver to the PowerDesigner Portal 16\Tomcat\webapps\cmr\WEB-INF\lib directory to allow the PowerDesigner Portal to connect to the new database.
We recommend that you keep your original database running initially and that you change the parameters on the PowerDesigner Portal Server Settings page, and use the Test Connection button to confirm that you can connect to the new database.
