Sort order

The sort order, or collation sequence, used by a server determines how character data and identifiers are compared and ordered. A sort order is determined by the character set.

Replication Server supports all Sybase-supported sort orders, including non-binary sort orders. Non-binary sort orders are necessary for the correct ordering of character data and identifiers in European languages.
