Apply upgrades to a primary, replicate, or standby database in the replication
system to accommodate changes, such as installing new stored procedures, that support the new version of Replication Server to which you are upgrading.

Start rs_init.

Select Upgrade an existing database in the replication system from the
Configure Replication System window, then choose Continue.

Complete the window with the information from the “Database Setup
Worksheet” for the upgraded Replication Server.

Enter the name of the Adaptive Server that manages the database you
are upgrading.

Enter the name of the database you are upgrading.

Enter the login name for the “sa” user on the Adaptive Server that
manages the database that you are upgrading. The default value is
“sa.”

Enter the Adaptive Server “sa” user password.

Enter the login name for the maintenance user on the Adaptive Server
that manages the database that you are upgrading. The default is
“database_maint,” where “database” is the name of the database you
are upgrading.

Select Continue. rs_init performs the upgrade.

If you have more Replication Servers or databases to upgrade, repeat the procedures to stop Replication Agent and quiesce Replication Server, upgrade RSSD or ERSSD, and upgrade Adaptive Server databases.
