Initially, Sybase supported only this type of passthrough mode.
In regular passthrough mode, Open Server recognizes events (SRV_LANGUAGE, SRV_RPC, and so on) and triggers the appropriate event handlers. Individual event handlers must be coded to call passthrough routines.
