Replication Server and Replication Manager (RM), the Sybase Central graphical plug-in that you can use to manage your replication system, support international environments. They provide these features:
Localization of messages into several languages.
Support for all Sybase-supported character sets, with character-set conversion between Replication Server sites.
Support for nonbinary sort orders.
When you design a replication system for an international environment, it is important to understand the impact that language, character set, and sort order settings have on your system. Replication Server and the RM provide great flexibility in the configuration of these settings.
