Use the SilentInstall_Win.bat script
to automate the installation or upgrade process. The SAP Mobile SDK installer runs silently, taking input from the
SilentInstall_Win.txt file.
The silent installation capability allows you to perform any particular type of
SAP Mobile SDK
installation or upgrade, without entering information through the installer interface.
There is no difference in the scripting process between a silent installation and a silent upgrade.
- Configure installer settings in a SilentInstall_Win.txt file.
- Run the installer from the command prompt, using the SilentInstall_Win.bat script.
- If User Access Control (UAC) is present in the version of Windows
where you are installing, disable it. Restart Windows for the change to take
effect.
Note: The SAP Mobile SDK
installer can install only SDK components. The SAP Mobile Platform Runtime requires a different installer for the server
components.
