Installing Introscope Enterprise Manager

Install Introscope Enterprise Manager, then configure it to work with SAP Mobile Server.

  1. Go to the SAP Web site at http://service.sap.com/instguides (login required).
  2. Select Installation & Upgrade Guides.
  3. In the left pane, expand SAP Components > SAP Solution Manager.
  4. Select the Release <version> of SAP Solution Manager that you have installed.
  5. Expand 2a Installation Using SW Prov. Mgr.
  6. Click the Wily Introscope Setup Guide <version> for the version of Introscope that you are using.
  7. Install Introscope Enterprise Manager on an SAP Mobile Server node, or any other machine.
  8. (Optional) To enable the Introscope agent in the SAP Mobile Server node to connect to Introscope Enterprise Manager, in a command prompt window, navigate to SMP_HOME\ Servers\UnwiredServer\bin and run:
    configure-introscope-agents.bat -host:<EM-host> -port:<EM-port>

    where <EM-host> is where you have installed Introscope Enterprise Manager and <EM-port> is the port number for Introscope Enterprise Manager to use.

  9. If Introscope agents have been disabled during SAP Mobile Server installation or upgrade, run (from SMP_HOME\ Servers\UnwiredServer\bin):
    configure-introscope-agents.bat -install
  10. Restart SAP Mobile Server fom the desktop shortcut or Windows start menu, but not from the Windows Service panel.
  11. Start Introscope Enterprise Manager and verify that agents for DotNet Process and SMP Java Server are enabled.
