Install Sybase IQ InfoPrimer using the setup program included in your installation media.
Prerequisites
Close any open applications or utilities.
Make sure that the target computer meets the hardware
and operating system requirements.
Make sure that you have the necessary licenses available
in your installation environment.
Make sure that you have the administrator rights to install grid node service.
(UNIX and Linux) Make sure that you have uudecode utility installed in /usr/bin/uudecode.
Task
You can download and extract the Sybase IQ InfoPrimer component
images from the Sybase Product Download Center (SPDC) at https://sybase.subscribenet.com
Warning! Do not install IQ InfoPrimer Development or IQ InfoPrimer Server in the
same directory as Sybase IQ 15.3.
Perform this:
Install IQ InfoPrimer Development using either GUI mode or silent mode.
However, Sybase recommends that you use GUI mode. By default, IQ InfoPrimer Development is installed in C:\Sybase\IQIPD-15_3.
Install IQ InfoPrimer Server using GUI
mode and non-GUI modes. By default, IQ InfoPrimer Server is installed in C:\Sybase\IQIPS-15_3
Note: GUI mode installation is only available on Windows platforms.
