The SAP Sybase Event Stream Processor includes a modified version of the Postgres ODBC driver.
Using this driver, C/C++ programs and third-party applications can send SQL queries or statements to ESP. For example, Microsoft Excel can pull data from ESP into a spreadsheet.
The ODBC driver is 32-bit Windows driver. It is included in the ESP distributions for 32-bit Windows and 64-bit Windows operating systems. It is installed by default. The binaries are placed in the %ESP_HOME%\obdc folder.
