Tab Folder and Tab Panel Properties

Use the Properties page to edit the attributes for the Tab Folder and Tab Panel container controls.

Tab Folder properties

Property Description
Current panel Shows the currently selected active tab. Select the active tab from the drop-down list.
Panel order Drag and drop the tab names to arrange the order in which the tabs appear. Click New to create a new tab in the tab folder.

Click Remove to remove the selected tab from the tab folder. This button is only activated if there is more than one tab in the tab folder.

Tab Folder styles properties

These properties allow you to select the colors for the active tab and the inactive tab.

Property Description
Active tab Select the style for the active tab.
Inactive tab Select the style for the inactive tab.
Tab border style Select the style for the tab border.

Current Tab Panel properties

Property Description
Panel title The name of the tab.
Assign image Adds an image to the selected tab of the panel.
Show pattern Select to add a pattern to the background color.
Note: This option is not supported on Windows Mobile devices.
Background image Select a background image to show in the tab. This will show behind the widgets.
Scale image to fill display size Stretch the image to fit the display size. This is not always desired for logos, but is good for pattern-based images.
Style Select the style to use for the tab panel. Controls inside the tab panel inherit the style for style parts not set on the controls.
Number of columns The number of columns in an active tab. You can separate tabs in to 1 – 3 columns. The default is 2.
Assign percentages The width of each column in the active tab, in percentages. The defaults are:
  • 1 Column – 100%.
  • 2 Columns – 35% for the first column, 65% for the second column.
  • 3 Columns – 33% for the first column, 34% for the second column, and 33% for the third column.
Horizontal alignment
  • Left – left-justified alignment.
  • Center – centered alignment.
  • Right – right-justified alignment.
