Editing Device Simulator Settings

Use the Device Preferences to edit the simulator settings for devices.

  1. Right-click on any page of the Device Application Designer (except Introduction), and select Preferences.
  2. Expand Devices and select the device for which to edit the settings.
  3. From the Device Configurations list, select the device for which to edit the settings and click Edit.
  4. In the Edit Device dialog, the Simulator Location shows the default location for the device. To change the location, click Browse.
  5. The Simulator File shows the batch file to run for the selected simulator. This batch file is used by the generation wizard. Click Browse to open the file dialog to update both the simulator location and simulator file text boxes. Updating the batch file updates the path automatically.
  6. Click OK.
