Mobile Application Project and Deployment Information

The Mobile Application Project and the associated deployment unit file provide a source of troubleshooting information when there are MBOs involved; for example, MBOs are involved when troubleshooting a device client (including object API clients (all platforms), or mobile workflow clients that use MBOs), or when debugging cache database or DCN issues.

Collect this information on the mobile application project:

• The Mobile Application Project (created in Unwired WorkSpace)
  • In WorkSpace Navigator, right-click on the mobile application project folder, and select 'Export' from the context menu to invoke the Export wizard.
  • In the 'Select' wizard page, select General > Archive File, and click Next.
  • In Archive File wizard page, click Browse and provide the zip file path in the dialog.
  • Click Finish.
• The deployment_unit.xml and deployment_descriptor.xml files.

  Once you have saved the deployment profile, you can extract the deployment_unit.xml and deployment_descriptor.xml files from the zip file in Unwired WorkSpace at: <WorkspacePath>\<Mobile Application Project Name> \< Deployment >\ <Mobile Application Project Name>.profile > \<Unwired Server name selected during deployment> \ <Mobile Application Project>.zip.
