Unwired Server requires that administrators configure security provider for device application logins differently from the mechanism used by Sybase Control Center. For device applications, your production environment may require that you configure multiple providers and multiple types.
Security Providers for Unwired Server are configured in Sybase Control Center for Unwired Platform. Files used by Unwired Server are then created dynamically based on the values you provide for each provider. Files generated by Sybase Control Center use a different syntax than those required to secure Sybase Control Center itself.
