Support for Maximum-Strength Password Encryption

The Replication Agent 15.7.1 SP120 version does not include Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy Files for maximum-strength (256-bit) password encryption.

By default, Replication Agent 15.7.1 SP120 now uses 128-bit password encryption string. To use the maximum-strength password encryption string, you must install JCE policy files and reset the system administrator account. Otherwise, you see an error message when you:

Upgrade an earlier version of Replication Agent 15.7.1 SP100 to 15.7.1 SP120 version using the ra_admin -u instance=<instance_name> command.

Could not decrypt the encrypted passwords because the encryption algorithm has been changed. 
Please verify if Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy Files is installed or reset administrator account.

Run the ra_downgrade command to downgrade the Replication Agent 15.7.1 SP120 to 15.7.1 SP100 version.

To use 256-bit password encryption, install JCE Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction policy files in the Replication Agent security directory.
