Indicates a process has initiated a write operation on the last page of the transaction log, and must sleep until the I/O completes. A high value for the Waits column for event 55 indicates that Adaptive Server is making a large number of updates to the transaction log because of committed transactions or other operations that requiring writing the transasction log to disk.
