Basic software components for ASA

Figure 2-5 show the basic software components required to connect to an ASA data source in DataWindow Designer.

The figure shows the components of an Adaptive Server Anywhere connection. At top is the Windows development environment, which is connected to the ODBC interface D L L labeled P B O D B n 0 dot D L L. This in turn is connected to the ODBC Driver Manager ODBC 32 dot D L L, which is connected to the driver D B ODBC n dot D L L. The driver is connected to the Adaptive Server Anywhere data source.
