Moving the Tool Palette

You can move the tool palette to another location in a perspective or outside of the perspective.

  1. To drag the tool palette, hold down the left mouse button on the gray area on the right side of its title bar.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To drop the tool palette in another location in the perspective, use the drop cursors to see where you can dock the tool palette.
    • To drop the tool palette outside of the perspective, drag the tool palette out of the perspective and drop it onto the desktop.

      This gives you more area for other views in your perspective. The tool palette is accessible at all times when it is outside of a perspective.
