Troubleshooting Invalid SQL

Problem: Receive errors when creating or processing database service operations.

Solution:

  1. Open Enterprise Explorer.
  2. Run the SQL statement or stored procedure through the isql provided with Enterprise Explorer to validate the SQL. If invalid, edit the SQL.
  3. Open the Service editor and edit the service operation.
  4. Save the database service.
  5. Repackage and redeploy the database service.
