Handlers are complex activities that are used to capture and process exceptions and faults that are thrown within business process logic.
You can use one or more handler in a business process or within a compensation routine. The available handlers are described in the following table.

|---|---|
| Fault | Use this handler in conjunction with a specific fault in a business process or compensation routine. |
| Exception | Use this handler in conjunction with a specific exception in a business process or compensation routine. |
| Default | Use this handler to catch and process all other exceptions and faults in a business process or compensation routine. |
