EJB Services

To enable integration of a Web service with Enterprise Java Bean endpoints, develop a service with an EJB endpoint type.

You can create a new EJB service implementation and derive the interface from the implementation or derive the service interface from an existing EJB implementation.

The resulting EJB service can be a standalone service or be called from another service, such as a composite Java service or business process service.

Note: If you have an EJB with numerous methods, you may want to create multiple EJB services, each containing a limited number of methods.
